Java Enabled Browsers

In order to access your 401(k) plan information at American National Insurance Company, your browser must be java-enabled. Please select your browser from the following list to view instructions for insuring that your browser is java-enabled.

Internet Explorer

Netscape

If you have Internet Explorer:

Internet Explorer 5.5 and 5

  1. Click Tools in the Internet Explorer menu.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Scroll down until you see the section titled Microsoft VM.
  5. Make sure JIT compiler for virtual machine enabled (requires restart) is checked.


Internet Explorer 4

  1. Click View in the Internet Explorer menu.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. Scroll down until you see the section titled Java VM.
  5. Make sure Java JIT compiler enabled is checked.


Internet Explorer 3 and below

Unfortunately, these browsers probably do not meet the 128-bit encryption requirement. If you have one of these browsers, we encourage you to install the most current version of this software before verifying that your browser is java-enabled. You can obtain the latest version of Internet Explorer by clicking here.

  1. Click Edit in the Netscape Navigator menu.
  2. Click Preferences.
  3. Click Advanced.
  4. Make sure Java and JavaScript are enabled.
